Privacy

Privacy policy.

How we handle personal information, plainly stated.

Meros Group Limited collects and uses personal information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Last updated 5 July 2026.

What we collect

When you contact us through this website, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the type of enquiry you select, and your message. If you email or call us directly, we hold the details of that correspondence.

When you engage us for property services (sales, management, staging, or carpet cleaning), we collect the information needed to deliver those services and to meet our legal obligations, including identity and property details, and where the law requires it, information for anti-money-laundering checks.

This website does not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, pages requested, time) for security and performance.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, deliver the services you ask for, keep proper business records, and meet legal requirements. Enquiries submitted through this site are routed to the right division of the group so the correct team responds.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it outside Meros Group Limited and its divisions except with service providers who process it for us (for example, our email provider), or where the law requires disclosure.

Where it lives

This website is hosted in New Zealand. Email is handled by Google Workspace, which may store data outside New Zealand; Google provides safeguards consistent with the Privacy Act. We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email hello@meros.co.nz or write to Building 1, 660-670 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland. We respond within 20 working days as the Act requires.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version appears on this page with a new date. Questions are welcome at hello@meros.co.nz or 0800 68 68 68.
